2017-02-14 – News Release

Mr. James Nelson reports

YDREAMS GLOBAL CREATES AN INNOVATIVE INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE FOR RIO DE JANEIRO’S ENERGY MUSEUM

YDreams Global Interactive Technologies Inc. has created innovative interactive features for the Light Museum in Rio de Janeiro. The museum is sponsored by Light — one of the main electricity distribution companies responsible for supplying power to over 10 million consumers in the city. YDreams Global, creative and technological partner of the project, has completed a major revamping of the museum’s facilities by introducing state-of-the-art interactive features that will be presented to visitors. “The key goal of this museum is to teach new generations the basic concepts of energy transformation and its safe, efficient usage in immersive and interactive forms, which is one of our fields of expertise,” explains Daniel Japiassu, YDreams Global’s chief executive officer.

Light commissioned YDreams to renew traditional attractions in addition to creating new experiences such as electronic games, multimedia panels and historical artifacts distributed in a covered area of approximately 3,000 square metres (32,292 square feet).

“The increase in turnout has confirmed that the interactive immersive environment that YDreams has created for the museum has been a success in increasing traffic to the museum. This validates YDreams value to show that the interactive and virtual reality experiences that YDreams creates tend to generate a significant increase in attendance and potential revenues for our clients,” states Mr. Japiassu.

Inflation just got another jolt, rising as much as 2.5 percent year-over-year in January, the highest such rate since March 2012. Led by higher gasoline, rent and health care costs, consumer prices have now advanced for the sixth straight month. In addition, January is the second straight month for rates to be above the Federal Reserve’s target of 2 percent.

Air fares are also climbing, and speaking of air fares, billionaire investor Warren Buffett added to his domestic airline holdings, we learned last week. Buffett’s holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, is now the second-largest holder of American Airlines, with an 8.79 percent share of the company. It also increased its holdings in Delta Air Lines by over 800 percent, to 60 million shares. The company now owns 43.2 million shares of Southwest Airlines, and it increased its stake in United Continental to about 28 million shares.

Mining the NEXT big metal in lithium-ion batteries

Once upon a time, when junior mining companies raised capital most of that money went into the ground. Times have changed. Today, most of the capital raised by junior miners is often eaten up in general administration costs.

Some mining companies, however, retain that “old-fashioned” approach to conserving shareholder capital. Manganese X Energy Corp. (TSX: V.MN, OTCQB: SNCGF, Forum) is one company who still believes that shareholder dollars are best spent in the ground. The Company preaches a team approach to management rather than an emphasis on individuals. This is reflected in the modest compensation packages, from CEO Martin Kepman on down the management ranks.

Want to trade gold rally? Go for silver

The rebound rally in gold is well established with a move above $1,220. The upside target is near $1,290. It’s good to see the gold uptrend continuing, but the upside target delivers 5.7 percent profit. Rather than trade gold, there are more effective and profitable ways to trade this rebound. Gold’s companion, silver, has similar characteristics but offers a higher return for the same behavior.

Silver lags the gold price behavior. Silver has a resistance level near $18.75 and then at $21.00. The $18.75 level is the equivalent to the $1,290 resistance level on the gold chart. Since silver lags gold, its price is only just moving above the Traders ATR breakout line near $17.30.

Want to Find the Opportunities? Follow the Sentiment

By: Frank Holmes

On Monday I had the opportunity to attend a conference at Goldman Sachs’ Dallas office. Among the dozens of money managers and investors who attended, a combined $1 trillion in assets was represented. The speakers were numerous, from famed economist Jan Hatzius, Goldman’s head of global economics, to Jeff Currie, global head of commodities research. Everyone was exceedingly smart and articulate, and I left the conference feeling recharged with much to think about.

One of the most fascinating takeaways was Goldman’s increased use of sentiment analysis tools. Basically what this means is sophisticated software trawls the internet in real time for public attitudes and opinions on companies, products, sectors, industries, countries—you name it. Sources can include press releases, news stories, earnings calls, blogs, social media and more. All of this data is gathered and analyzed, giving quants and other highly sophisticated investors a better idea of where tomorrow’s opportunities lie.
